Dead Phone Zero Problems
Happy Saturday evening, loves! My phone has been dead practically all day, and I think this may have been the greatest blessing. I did a number of fun, new things today that could have all easily been Instagrammed & Snapchatted in the moment, but they weren’t. Because dead phone. AKA blessing. Since my phone was completely out of commission and I didn’t have to fuss over taking, editing, and posting photos, I enjoyed all of these activities (on my final summer Saturday in Boston) so much more than I would have. I went to a super challenging workout class lead by my fellow foodie blogger, Holly (@eating_peanut_better). My mom & her close friend met me for lunch, and we got to explore the quaint, precious North End together (so much olive oil everywhere. I’m obsessed). Some fellow Chi Os & I soaked up the sun at the Lawn on D, which is basically an adult playground with music and refreshments. And finally, I met two of my high school friends, Audrey + Allie, at Whole Foods. We picked up dinner to go, walked to the Esplanade, found a delightful patch of grass, and had a picnic while watching the sailboats and the gorgeous sunset on the water.
It was a busy, sunny day filled with my most favorite people ever. I am appreciative of all that today, this week, and this year has offered me. May God bless!!
