Dark Chocolate Mocha (Dairy-Free)
My favorite way to start the morning is with a cup of hot coffee and a good book before going to yoga or on a walk outdoors. Lately, I've been superfood-ifying my coffee with fun ingredients (like raw cacao and collagen peptides), and I like to blend everything together because the FROTH that results is too real. And you don't even need a milk frother -- just a blender!
I enjoy making homemade mochas because, 9 times out of 10, the coffee shop's chocolate mix contains milk fat or milk powder. I know that dairy -- of all kinds, upsets my stomach, so I try to stay away from it.
This mocha is light and frothy, yet creamy and chocolatey. I think you will really like it; happy Friday morning to you!
